Stitch Rides the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover Ahead of Reopening, Ride Operating Hours Posted Starting Monday

With an image of Stitch from Lilo & Stitch riding the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, Disney Parks Blog confirmed today that the attraction will open “later this weekend,” although the Walt Disney World Resort website has operating hours starting on Monday, April 26th.

Disney Parks Blog took to Instagram to share an image taken earlier this morning of Stitch testing out the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover ahead of its reopening.

We’re currently keeping a close eye on the attraction. It’s been a long year without the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover and although the operating hours aren’t listed to start until Monday, we’re hopeful that it will open sooner rather than later.

In light of this, we’ve been seeing a lot of testing and training with Cast Members today on the attraction.

Things are moving quickly, so keep reading WDWNT as we update you on the status of the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover in the Magic Kingdom!

  1. Considering that there are a now cast members saying Sunday morning that the People Mover won’t be opening in the morning, and maybe later, it’s a safe bet Stitch managed to break something. You would think that Disney Operations would know better than to let him anywhere near an attraction under repair and testing. (unless they WANTED it back down again??…)
