Last week, the design for Walt Disney World’s first-ever specialty license plate was revealed. Thankfully, the plate has reached its pre-sale goal meaning it will go into production.
The plate’s requirement on the Florida Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles website was 3,000 pre-sales. As of this writing, 3,568 have sold.
The design of the license plate features the “EARidescent” 50th anniversary Cinderella Castle logo on a royal blue background in honor of “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.” 100% of proceeds benefit Make-A-Wish of Central and Northern Florida and their work granting wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions.
Interested drivers can still purchase a pre-sale voucher for the license plate for $25 plus applicable state administration fees through their local County Tax Collector’s Office, DMVs throughout Florida, or online through the Orange County Tax Collector’s office.

I was one of the first cast members standing in line at the Tax Collector’s office when the plate was first announced. So happy to see the proceeds going to Make A Wish Foundation. Can’t wait to put the Special Disney Anniversary plate on my car ! 😁
