Hello from a lovely breezy day here at Walt Disney World! We started our day at the Magic Kingdom to check in on the ongoing construction project there, and found some things to update you on. Let’s get started!

With the Baby Care Center in a temporary location in Tomorrowland during it’s usual location’s refurbishment, addition signage has been added throughout the surrounding area to help guests find their way.

New lights have been installed on the illuminated canopy for TRON Lightcycle / Run, marking a new milestone in the construction of this part of the attraction. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

This large attraction prop was seen being moved around the construction site, indicating that interior construction has resumed on the show building. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

The trim on the camel car in the Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station has been painted bronze.

The left side bunting has returned to the main building of Dumbo the Flying Elephant. This was the last piece to the bunting puzzle, and the attraction appears to be completely refurbished now.

We had a great time at the Magic Kingdom, but our day wasn’t over yet! We headed over to Disney Springs to see what new things we could find there.

While grabbing some lunch, we saw that the soda station at Earl of Sandwich was completely open to guests, whereas it had previously been manned by a Cast Member to reduce high touch points.

We also noticed other safety measures being removed at Everglazed, which no longer has line markers inside in the queue.

Just outside of Disney’s Days of Christmas, we found a new photo op for “The Chicken Squad”, a Disney Junior Original Series.

We found another photo op at AMC Theaters for “Cruella” which premiers on May 28th.

We found some new merchandise at Disney Springs as well, starting with this new open edition Disney’s Yacht Club Resort pin, which is available at Pin Traders for $9.99.

We found a new pair of adult socks featuring Wall-E and Eve at World of Disney, retailing for $14.99.

Also at World of Disney, we found this new youth “Indiana Jones” shirt for $19.99.

The Marvel world just got a whole lot cuter with the arrival of this new Big Feet plush of Rocket. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

Nearby at the Marketplace Co-Op, we found a mini backpack by Loungefly that matches the newest Disney Cruise Line merchandise line. It retails for $75.00.

While we were in Disney Springs, we took the opportunity to check out the latest Disney collaboration, this new body butter and bath bomb line by Basin. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

We couldn’t come to Disney Springs without getting the newest creations from Everglazed! This is the S’mores Galore donut, and it looked amazing with that giant marshmallow on top!

Next, we tried the Butterscotch Caramel donut, which was our favorite of the ones we tried, and definitely the gooiest.

Last but not least, we tried the Nutella Boston Cream donut. We had high hopes for this one, and while we weren’t completely disappointed, it was not the knock out winner we were hoping for. Reviews for all three of these delicious beauties will be coming soon, so keep an eye on wdwnt.com for updates!
We had a great time at Walt Disney World today, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
