Welcome to another beautiful day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. Face covering policies have been updated for the resort and guests are no longer required to wear face coverings while outdoors.
Signage was updated around the resort to reflect the changes. Some guests still wore masks while other guests went without. You can get all the details and see more photos here.
There’s some new “Hello Kitty” Loungefly bags in the park. These can be found in the Hello Kitty Shop.
The Will Call line for Islands of Adventure stretched down to the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium.
When we got to Islands of Adventure, the park felt a lot more crowded. Despite the huge crowds, the parks did not hit capacity.
VelociCoaster was open again today. The torches at the entrance haven’t been lit lately, but today they were.
Team Members were out asking guests to fill out a survey about their experience on VelociCoaster.
It’s nice to see guests enjoying the Jurassic Park Discovery Center.
We tried the new Blue Churro from Natural Selections, inspired by our favorite velociraptor! Read our full review here.
A dinosaur was assisting in helping take orders and hand back change at Pizza Predattoria.
If you sit on the wrong side of the ropes, you better just stay very still.
Food lines were crazy, which is typical for a Saturday, but it’s starting to get ridiculous. The wait time to buy food is longer than to get on the rides during busy days!
In Toon Lagoon, we found a temporary food location set up to help with hungry crowds. We definitely need it today!
Snookers & Snookers Sweet Candy Cookers has reopened after a brief refurbishment. The floor looks great.
We stopped by the High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride one more time to see Conductor Bob on his last day. We’ll miss him!
The parks are always quiet in the morning, but in the afternoon, it was extremely busy. Lines for food were long everywhere. That’s our cue to get out of here!
That’s all for this visit to the Universal Orlando Resort. Thanks for following along with us today and be sure to stay tuned for more updates from Universal parks around the globe!
