It’s another busy day here at the Universal Orlando Resort! Let’s head over to Islands of Adventure first and check out what’s new.
VelociCoaster has been consistently soft opening and wait times haven’t been too bad. We love the height check at the entrance. Look at the little dinosaur feet!
We stopped into Jurassic Park to try the new Jurassic World Isla Nublar IPA. You can get it in Burger Digs, Watering Hole, Thunder Falls Terrace, and Natural Selections.
There’s a new Jurassic World “They Were Here First” hat available for $26 that matches a lot of the other new merchandise that was recently recently.
It’s a very busy day here at Universal Orlando!
Universal Studios Florida was just as busy as Islands of Adventure.
Over in KidZone, Fieval’s Playland has reopened. Some of the slides and play areas are blocked off, but there are still plenty of fun things for kids to do here. The water slide has reopened, too, so we decided to grab a raft and take the ride. If you’ve never experienced this little water slide, we would suggest you check it out on your next visit!
It was a hot, busy afternoon, especially in Diagon Alley. The parks have seemed a lot more crowded lately, but thankfully, the wait times for attractions aren’t bad.
The wait for food can be even longer than the attractions.
There’s some painting happening around the courtyard area of the old Barney Theater.
A little fan of the Blues Brothers was putting on a great performance dancing along with Jake and Elwood. It’s great to see audiences young and old enjoying this popular show in the park.
Thanks for joining us around the parks today. We’ll be back again soon, so make sure you keep following Universal Parks News Today for more updates.
