If you’re looking to let your kids run off some energy, Fievel’s Playland at Universal Studios Florida has officially reopened. Fievel’s Playland is a larger-than-life play area based on the beloved childrens’ films An American Tail and Fievel Goes West that lets you see the world from a mouse’s perspective.
As per Universal Orlando Resort’s recent policy change, masks are not required at this outdoor play area.
Hand sanitizer is still available around the playland.
Enclosed slides are closed at this time.
The bounce-house area for small children is open.
However, the ball pit is still closed.
Located in Woody Woodpecker’s Kidzone, there are many opportunities to climb and explore here.
The Mouse Climb net area is closed.
Fievel’s Waterslide is open and masks are required to ride.
We can give first-hand confirmation that this sign is correct.
If you don’t mind the “wet britches”, the waterslide is a fun way to cool off.
At this time, Curious George Goes to Town is still closed, but we expect to see it reopen soon. Over at Universal’s Islands of Adventure, the “If I Ran the Zoo” Play Area in Seuss Landing and Camp Jurassic at Jurassic Park reopened to guests last month.

ok….I’ll ask…
The name of this site is Walt Disney World News Today….Right?
Then why are there constant articles about Universal? Universal
is a chief rival of Disney. I would understand articles about Disneyland
but that is in the Disney family…..So what gives.
Let Universal have its own sites , etc.
The name of the site is not “Walt Disney World News Today” nor has it ever been known by that name.
Don’t insult our intelligence, WDWNT the worldwide leader in Disney news; what else could WDWNT stand for? Universal or Disney LAND has no place here…
Disneyland news has been posted on this site since February 2008. I think people are ok with it.
Maybe it’s because Universal actually has new attractions and shows, while the only thing to report at Disney is new merchandise, new food items, cancellation of long-time staples, reservation nonsense and price increases.
By that logic, shouldn’t you be upset about the Disneyland stories too? Go find something productive to spend that energy on instead of complaining.
