Earlier this week, we noticed new tables and food booths popping up in Universal Studios Florida, pointing to a summer food festival coming to the park. Two menus have now appeared at food trucks in the park.

This food truck is parked in front of Chez Alcatraz in the San Francisco area of the park.

The “summer bites” include:

  • Smoky brisket melt: smoked BBQ brisket – $11.99
  • Vegan melt: vegan cheese, arugula, tomato, pesto – $10.99
  • White cheddar mac ‘n’ cheese: white cheddar cheese sauce, Romano bread crumbs – $9.99
  • Carnitas mac ‘n’ cheese: BBQ carnitas, white cheddar cheese sauce, Romano bread crumbs – $11.99
  • White cheddar mac ‘n’ cheese side – $5.99
  • Cream of tomato soup side – $5.99

Another food truck nearby has only two “summer bites”:

  • Pressed cuban sandwich: roast pork, Serrano ham, Swiss cheese, mustard and pickles on Cuban bread – $14.99
  • Beef empanadas: picadillo beef filled pastries, cucumber and tomato salad – $12.99

Team Members told us this festival will begin tomorrow, Saturday, May 8. Are you excited for summer at Universal Studios Florida? Let us know in the comments.

Terrible food. Tastes like cardboard sitting under a heat lamp. Only place open. Too many places closed when at full capacity. More places were open during spring break.
