Howdy, partners! We are excited to be back at Disneyland Park after it reopened on Friday. We headed to Frontierland to experience the wildest ride in the wilderness, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, taking note of the new physical distancing practices put in place.

Cast Members adorned in face coverings greet Guests at the entrance, which has a hand sanitizer station.

The queue is lined with physical distancing markers, helping guide Guests to stay 6 feet apart from other parties.

Plexiglass barriers are present when reaching the stairs.

The plexiglass continues through the building, until boarding.

The plexiglass also creates a barrier between the queue and Guests waiting for the next train to arrive.

The attraction is currently loading one party per car of train.

And, we’re off!

We’ve missed the eerie glow of the stalactites within the mines!

It’s the GOAT! (We spotted him on a must-have T-Shirt recently!)

The foreboding warning signs emit red lights as we enter the tunnel.

And—Boom! The projections in the mine were fully functioning today.

However, during our ride there was not any smoke in the mine.
