PHOTOS, VIDEO: Mickey’s PhilharMagic Reopens with Physical Distancing at Disney California Adventure
In a much-needed break from all the spinning, we took a pause on rides at Disney California Adventure to catch a show at Mickey’s PhilharMagic. Other than Turtle Talk with Crush, Mickey’s PhilharMagic is the closest thing to a show you can see at Disney California Adventure right now. Entertainment offerings are still limited due to COVID-19 restrictions.
In the courtyard, guests are directed to wait on round physical distancing markers, and a Cast Member distributes 3D glasses.
As indoor queues are still not allowed in California, guests are directed to wait in the courtyard until it’s time to be seated.
The physical distancing markers are themed to Hollywood Land.
Cast Members lead guests through the waiting room directly into the theater.
Every few rows are blocked. In available rows, no seats are blocked, and guests are asked to keep six feet of distance between themselves and other parties.
The normal return bin for 3D glasses is set up outside the theater.
Take a look at the physical distancing measures at Mickey’s PhilharMagic in our video below:
