We’re back at Universal Studios Florida this morning for a full tour of the Jurassic World Tribute Store.
The tribute store has four themed rooms offering merchandise, photo ops, and treats:
- The control room, with Jurassic World employee uniforms, computer stations with maps of Isla Nublar, and raptor data
- The raptor paddock, with tall fencing and foliage, containment crates, and of course, lots of raptors
- The laboratory from Jurassic Park, overrun and dilapidated but full of screen-used props from the film series
- The Gentle Giants exhibit, with dinosaur care supplies, lab equipment, and a Triceratops
Let’s check it out!
The Control Room
After you pass through the gates, you enter an InGen facility. Equipment and lockers for the InGen team are found in the entry, with doors for maintenance and a break room.
Jurassic World staff uniforms, hardhats, and walkie talkies are next to a lockout station before you enter the control room.
You can pick up some VelociCoaster grand opening merchandise here.
The computer terminals show dinosaur data, a map of Isla Nublar, and more park monitoring systems.
You can also see “security camera” footage of VelociCoaster.
This computer terminal doubles as a U-Design station for phone cases and wall signs.
Guests can personalize Jurassic World phone cases.
You can also personalize a Velociraptor wall sign.
The Dinosaur Tracks Guide sign, unfortunately, cannot be customized.
The first mold-a-rama machine lets you create a tiny T-rex.
The Raptor Paddock
When you enter the raptor paddock, you’ll find plenty of Jurassic World merchandise and Velociraptors on the prowl.
Remember, they hunt in packs, so watch out!
Jurassic World Themed Candles by Magic Candle Company – $16.95
Triceratops Trail features notes of patchouli , moss, and tropical ferns with an aged, slightly decayed twist.
Stegosaurus Stream features top notes of apple, melon, orange and bergamot. The heart blends lavender and bois de rose leading to a base of woody violet and musk.
East Dock features a hint of sweetness and just the right amount of earthiness to capture the smell of fresh grass.
Churro Stand features cinnamon, sugar, and hints of bergamot and creamy dark chocolate. The middle notes contain even more sugar and cinnamon with a sweet and creamy vanilla base and just a touch of caramel drizzle.
Sorna Redwoods features top notes of fir needle and lavender, middle notes of vetiver, patchouli, and redwood resting on base notes of sandalwood, spicy leather, and warm cedar.
Pack Hunt features notes of scorched bark and fresh cedar, middle notes of pinewood, and patchouli and base notes of smokey vetiver, damp earth and oakmoss.
Primeval Jungle features a rich base of tonka and cedar accompanied by middle notes of sandalwood and rose rounded out with lively top notes of lavender and earth.
Hadrosaur Cove features highly themed notes of damp air and musty water.
The Laboratory
A long hall directs you to the Jurassic Park Visitor Center. Much like we saw it in Jurassic World, the old park building has been overgrown and fallen into disrepair.
Here, guests head into the laboratory where the original Jurassic Park dinosaurs were created.
In the lab, you’ll find the other mold-a-rama machine, where you can make a small Brachiosaurus.
Check out this fearsome shadow effect:
The eerie nature of the abandoned lab is emphasized by the sounds of a raging thunderstorm and dinosaurs on the loose. The lights even flicker.
Plants grow around the old equipment unhindered.
A tiny Compsognathus lurks in the shadows.
This room is full of original props from the Jurassic Park film series.
Next to the letter dismissing John Hammond as CEO of InGen, guests can spot his iconic cane topped with the mosquito fossilized in amber.
The hat worn by Alan Grant (Sam Neill) sits next to his book, “Dinosaur Detectives.”
The Gentle Giants
The final room holds the Gentle Giants exhibit, featuring a Triceratops. This is also where you will find many dinosaur-themed snacks.
The Triceratops is hanging out in a paddock near the entry. It’s a great photo op.
There are four food stalls inside the final room with lots of treats to try.
The Treat Outpost has a display case packed to the brim with delicious snacks, including the Jurassic World Dig in Jar, the Pistachio Puff, and many “Blue” treats.
The Fossilized Amber is a gummy treat complete with “mosquito” for $7.
Stop by the Egg Nursery for your very own edible dinosaur egg!
These chocolate eggs are huge.
Once “hatched,” you’ll find a chocolate dinosaur inside.
The checkout area is themed to the veterinary services department of Isla Nublar.
Sadly, this means we have reached the end.
When exiting, vintage-style attractions posters line the walls for both real and fictional rides.
A statue of John Hammond stands at the exit to the Tribute Store.

$17 for one of those tiny little candles. I just can’t get over it. Saw those during Mardi Gras.
