Universal Orlando Resort has officially informed Team Members that they will no longer be requiring vaccinated guests to wear face masks indoors or outdoors, effective Saturday, May 29.
Universal is not requiring guests to provide proof of vaccination to go without a mask, but expects guests to comply.
While onstage, Team Members are required to wear face coverings both indoors and outdoors. Backstage, fully vaccinated Team Members are not required to wear masks, with “some exceptions.” If they are not fully vaccinated, they are required to wear masks when indoors backstage and outdoors if physical distancing is not possible.
Universal stopped requiring any guests to wear masks outdoors earlier this month.

so “backstage, they are not required to wear masks”. Why not? Answer….Its all just theatre. Ridiculous. Masks never did anything to begin with
Really. Are we still adjudicating this point 15 months into the pandemic? Masks help reduce spread but vaccines are better. If you aren’t gonna get vaxed, wear a mask indoors as outdoor spread seems to be minimal. It’s that simple. So read the article. No masks for the vaxed. That means kids under 12 still gotta mask and the unvaccinated.
Wonderful news! Now, I hope that Walt Disney World follows suit very soon, too!!
Good that means Disney should follow in about a week. :)
I’ll believe it when Universal announces it
They did

Got it. No Press release, no official document from UO? Great news reporting!
It’s on the official website now.

It’s literally on their site
What about kids? Will it be required if they are not able to be vaccinated?
Nope, no one is required
Where did you see this?
Both Disney and Universal have to said to hell with your under 12 kids health. We lost billions and we want it back now!!! Any illusion that either ever “cared” about their guests should now be completely gone. All bow to the mighty dollar.
Or they figure that parents are responsible for the health of their own children, not a theme park operator.
Goodness! If you are so concerned then just do not go or take your kids until you feel comfortable. It really and truly is that simple
IF I did I would LOL
