CONFIRMED: Vaccinated Outdoor Team Members No Longer Required to Wear Masks at Universal Orlando Resort

Only moments after reporting the rumor, we can now confirm that Universal Orlando Resort Team Members who have been fully vaccinated and work in outdoor positions are no longer required to wear face masks effective tomorrow.

Fully vaccinated Team Members are also not required to wear masks in most indoor areas backstage. They are required to wear masks indoors onstage.

  1. Once again, Universal shows Disney how it’s done–making a well thought out, logical business decision, which Disney seems wholly incapable of doing. Disney desperately needs new leadership. Iger and Chapek are so out of touch; they really don’t have a clue.

  2. AMAZING how Universal has just over taken Disney. By far the better of the Florida destinations.

  3. Are Universal TMs required to show proof of vaccination, or is it an “honor” system? Hopefully, the later because let’s have less silly bureaucracy and treat people like adults.
