Several Disney’s Animal Kingdom Attractions Down Due to Power Outage

Several Disney’s Animal Kingdom attractions are currently not operating. The down time is being caused by a power outage. The power outage has also shuttered numerous shops and restaurants. Reports also indicate that some restrooms may not be operational.

The non-operating attractions are marked on the map with stars.

DINOSAUR, Expedition Everest, It’s Tough to be a Bug!, and Kali River Rapids are all temporarily closed. Shortly after this post was first published, TriceraTop Spin also closed. Once power is restored, it will take some time to bring the rides back online.

Power outage? Really? It’s dead as a door nail here at Magic Kingdom today. If Disney doesn’t lose the rest of the BS mask mandates and bring back staff, it’s the beginning of the end.

I was there yesterday when this happened. Our food order got cancelled and we had some hangry guests in our group. Ended up leaving the park since so many attractions were closed. Very frustrating since we used our last day on our 4 day pass for this and we were only in the park for a few hours. Do you think Disney will reimburse our lost day?

Has anyone heard what caused the outage?
