Starting today, fully vaccinated Walt Disney World Cast Members are no longer required to wear face masks when working outdoors.
We saw some smiling maskless Cast Members at the Transportation and Ticket Center this morning.
At Jungle Cruise, many of the skippers weren’t wearing masks, including when on the boats with guests. There are still dividers on the boats between guests and skippers though.
Cast Members working indoors as well as those not fully vaccinated are still be required to wear face coverings. The decision comes as COVID-19 safety protocols are being relaxed thanks to the widespread availability of vaccines. Face shields were also no longer required for Cast Members beginning June 11. For guests, face coverings are still required when using Disney transportation, including buses, monorails, and the Disney Skyliner.

Great news for CMs! It’s about time Disney did something advantageous for them.
