Physical distancing markers continue to be removed from Walt Disney World queues. Numerous attractions at the Magic Kingdom have now removed the markers, both outdoors and in. Markers have been removed at Jungle Cruise, Mad Tea Party, “it’s a small world,” Peter Pan’s Flight, Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin. Let’s take a look at the changes.
Jungle Cruise

The physical distancing markers have been removed from all Jungle Cruise switchbacks. The ride is also undergoing a refurbishment to make it more culturally sensitive.

Guests fill the queue. Those wishing to maintain physical distancing will need to do so without the aid of markers.

The markers have been removed from the entire length of the queue, including the loading area.

Mad Tea Party

Physical distancing markers have also been removed from the Mad Tea Party queue.

No markers remain in the switchback area.

After making their way through the marker-less queue, guests are ready to take a spin.

A single physical distancing marker remains near one entrance gate.
“it’s a small world”

Physical distancing markers have also been removed from “it’s a small world.”

Despite the removal of distancing markers, a Cast Member confirmed that parties are still being distanced on the boats. Plexiglass dividers also remain in place.
Peter Pan’s Flight

Cast Members confirmed that the physical distancing markers at Peter Pan’s Flight have been removed, including the indoor markers.

As with “it’s a small world,” plexiglass dividers have not been removed.
Haunted Mansion

All markers have also been removed at Haunted Mansion.

We asked a Cast Member about the stretching room. Guests are still walking straight through the stretching room to the Doom Buggy loading area.
Splash Mountain

All physical distancing markers have been removed from the Splash Mountain queue.

Pirates of the Caribbean

The physical distancing markers have sailed away from Pirates of the Caribbean.

The plexiglass switchback dividers are still in place.
The Magic Carpets of Aladdin

The Magic Carpets of Aladdin no longer has physical distancing markers in its queue.

It is easy to see where markers previously lined the queue.

Physical distancing markers still remain at some Magic Kingdom attractions. We can confirm that markers are still in place at the following attractions:
- The Barnstormer
- Dumbo the Flying Elephant
- Mickey’s PhilharMagic
- Tomorrowland Speedway
- Under the Sea — Journey of The Little Mermaid
- Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin
- Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover
- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
- Prince Charming Royal Carrousel

Remove the plexi glass
They’ve never done anything. Period. Except make rides like Slinky a hot box.
Was there last week and I swore I was gonna pass out in that line. Ridiculous
I wouldn’t mind them getting rid of the plexiglass, but would like them to leave the bit of a wall that’s under the glass . It’s low enough that air circulates but better than just a rail or rope so it keeps people from leaning into you or getting bumped by backpacks, or kids swinging on them.
Hi,
My family and I are visiting in July me and my mother have been vaccinated but I still have two children 6 and 10. How would you recommend how to handle everything as far as covid is concerned.
As their parent that is really up to you. Handle it how you feel is best for them
Your kids will be just fine. Don’t worry.
The fact that Disney is making changes to the mask policy does concern me a lil because so many of their guest are not old enough to take the vaccine, if they choose too. However, everyone has to decide whats best for them. M
I hope the plexiglass goes away for good. I also hope Haunted Mansion’s stretching room returns. As well as Tower of Terror’s preshow.
