We’ve been touring each room in the remodeled Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, which held its grand reopening last week. We stayed in an Empire State Club room, Spider-Man suite, and Avengers suite. For our final night, we stayed in one of the hotel’s standard rooms. This room is not as themed as the others, though is similar to the Empire State Club room.

Upon entering, the bathroom is on the right through a sliding door. The main mirror and makeup mirror both have illumination.

The sink is inspired by the Chrysler building.

There are outlets for shavers.

A swinging glass door leads into the bathtub and shower.

There’s a removable, adjustable shower head.

The faucets resemble the sink.

There are two strips of glittering tile in the shower.

The conditioner, shampoo, and shower gel are mounted in the shower.

A transparent sliding glass door leads to the toilet.

Neither the main bathroom door nor the sliding glass door lock.

Across from the bathroom is the closet.

One side with shelving is open, while the other side has a door.

Behind the door is the ironing board, iron, hangers, and safe.

There are three drawers under the safe.

There’s also a long mirror in the entryway.

Temperature controls are in the bedroom.

Art varies from room to room. We had Black Panther and Captain Marvel pieces.

One of the most noticeable differences between the standard and Empire State Club rooms is the lack of an interesting plush headboard. These headboards are just textured white plywood.

Instead of end tables, shelves curve out from the walls. They have built-in outlets and controls for the bedside lights.

There are plush benches at the end of each bed.

There’s space under the beds for storage, and a rectangle of dynamic red carpet.

The white and black desk unit is across from the beds with a chair.

The TV is built into the mirror.

There are more outlets on the desk.

Themed bottled water and cups surround the coffeemaker.

In front of the patio doors are two chairs and a small table.

The chairs have pillows with New York buildings pictured on them.

We were on the first floor, and the patios don’t have any fencing or railing.

They are mostly surrounded by dirt as they jut out into the woods.
