We’re back at one of our favorite dessert shops on property to try out another new offering. Recently released is Amorette’s Piña Colada Cheesecake, which is perfect for the summer.
New York style Piña Colada Cheesecake on a graham cracker crust, coconut mousse, grilled pineapple, and sweetened toasted coconut, Topped with Malibu Rum pipette.
This offering is surprisingly refreshing for a dairy dessert in the Florida heat. The cheesecake itself is the perfect New York style – not too smooth, with a soft coconut and pineapple flavor.
We loved the presentation, and the way it all tastes soaked in the rum. Every bite is smooth, and not too harsh.
The fruit on top is a very nice touch. It was excellent quality and refreshing.
The graham cracker crust is flavorful and a nice last resort for the rum to soak into on its way through the cheesecake.
The toasted coconut gives a good flavor and texture change.
Overall, this is a very nice dessert. It offers a great presentation and is fun to indulge in. We would get definitely get it again.
