Magic Kingdom
- We had lovely weather and were able to get a good look around at all the new things here in the park to show you in today’s photo report!
- During our ride on The Jungle Cruise at Magic Kingdom this morning, we spotted several more props that were added to the “Boats & Baits and Bites” scene.
- The menu for Casey’s Corner is now available for guests to view online, likely an indication that Casey’s Corner is set to reopen soon.
- With many attractions around the Magic Kingdom removing plexiglass dividers from their queues recently, we found another popular ride to add to the list: Pirates of the Caribbean.
EPCOT
- The Advanced Training Labs at the exit of Mission: SPACE have been slowly reopening now that physical distancing has ended at Walt Disney World and now most of the computer kiosks of the Space Race lab have been uncovered.
- With the news yesterday that EPCOT’s newest fireworks show, Harmonious, will debut on October 1st, President of the Walt Disney World Resort, Jeff Vahle, shared his thoughts of the show via Instagram.
- We’ve been tracking the ongoing pavement replacement across EPCOT, and now, Imagineer Zach Riddley has given a closer look at the pavement and selection process.
Other Walt Disney World News
- As of July 1, Disney’s Magical Express will no longer mail reservation confirmation collateral to guests and travel agents.
- The MaDe kiosks continue to add new designs and offerings for guests around Walt Disney World, and now, designs are available for Apple Watch bands.
- The next phase of the repainting of the Transportation and Ticket Center is already underway, with the monorail stations getting a new color scheme for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World.
- Disney has just released additional park pass reservations for July 1, the day that Happily Ever After returns to the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT Forever returns to EPCOT.
- With nighttime spectaculars set to resume at Walt Disney World beginning next week, returning and upcoming shows have been added to the My Disney Experience app.

Disneyland Paris

- Mickey and Minnie are now sporting a nautical look at Disney’s Newport Bay Club.
Shanghai Disneyland
- This is the “Year of Magical Surprises” for the anniversary, and as a chapter of that, we’ll see a series of special seasonal surprises from June 24th to August 31st
Hong Kong Disneyland
- Just a week away from its premiere, the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort’s managing director Michael Moriarty has shared images from the Cast Preview of Follow Your Dreams on his Instagram account.
New Merchandise
- The old faithful Frontier Trading Post at the Magic Kingdom had a few new limited edition and limited release pins for us today, including a “Robin Hood” Magical Comics pin.
Entertainment and Media
- Submitted for your approval… Scarlett Johansson is set to both produce and star in a film based on The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
- Fifteen people have already tested positive for the Delta variant of COVID-19 on the set of the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid, being filmed in Sardinia.
- The production of the fifth Indiana Jones film is expected to be adjusted following the injury of star Harrison Ford on the set.
