Hello from another very hot day at EPCOT! We took a walk around the park on this bright, sunny day to see what new things we could find to show you, and we’re glad we did. Let’s get started!

Just two days after the EPCOT Monorail line reopened (after being unavailable for more than a year), it was out of service today. Cast Members continued to say they hoped it would be running later in the day, but as of midday, it was still unavailable. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

Despite the removal of the lift used to install the Points of Light on Spaceship Earth, there are still lights missing, indicating that the installation is not yet complete.

The waterways in Future World West, which we saw drained early last week, have been completely refilled.

Landscaping in the form of trees has been added recently to the area outside of Creations Shop. These trees can be seen overtop of the construction walls from several angles now.

The Liquid Layer splash pad near MISSION: Space was turned off today and bore signs reading “Wet Caulk.”

A new construction wall has appeared in between MouseGear and MISSION: Space. It appears to be only partially complete, as it stops abruptly without connecting to anything, and allows guests to see behind it.

The repainting of the large surface areas of La Bottega Italiana is now complete, including the tower on top, which had previously needed three sides to be painted still.

In Festival news, the Donut Box now has a menu with pictures available at the booth.

A small Food & Wine Festival plastic cup is available at Refreshment Outpost, which you can get any soda in for $2 extra.

We stopped by the model train village in the Germany Pavilion and found that the International Food & Wine banners were up around town.

The Flower & Garden Festival food booth between the France Pavilion and the Morocco Pavilion, which did not transition to the Food & Wine Festival, has been removed. The whole area was blocked by rolling planters.

We found two late-comers to the new Mickey and Minnie merchandise line in the France Pavilion, starting with this espresso cup for $17.99.

Next, we found this adult hat featuring Mickey for $27.99.

We found two new pieces of headwear in the Mexico Pavilion, our favorite of which was this hat featuring a silhouette of Mickey. For more pictures and information on both hats, check out our article here.

We found a new utility keychain at Mouse Gear today featuring the Avengers. This keychain also has a spinning centerpiece and retails for $14.99.

While the International Flower & Garden Festival is long over, these large landscaping installations seem to be here to stay, which we are thoroughly enjoying. We had a wonderful day at EPCOT, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
