Hello from what turned out to be a lovely day here at the Magic Kingdom! With a forecast full of rain, we were surprised to find that grey skies gave way to sunshine by midday, and brought barely any rain at all. We certainly aren’t complaining! We found some things at the park to show you, so let’s get started!

We didn’t see much preparation around the park for Hurricane Elsa, as the threat level was low to this part of the state, but we did notice that the reentry point to the grid of TRON Lightcycle / Run had been covered with what appears to be tarp.

On the illuminated canopy edge, we noticed new additions of electrical conduit and junction boxes.

Following the removal of the game plaques at the Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom portal locations, we have been watching these spots for updates. Today we saw that some of the keyhole tap points had been removed, sometimes leaving large holes behind. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

A few days ago, we reported that one of the hippos on the Jungle Cruise was malfunctioning, and was stuck in the “upright” position. Today we found that it is fully operational again, and was functioning during our cruise.

A large display has taken over one wall in Frontier Trading Post to show off the latest Limited Edition pins available to guests. Three locked cases now showcase what pins are available for purchase, replacing a small corkboard.

The iconic Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street, U.S.A., reopened today with the same classic menu featuring Edy’s Ice Cream as they had pre-closure. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.

We found a new phone case featuring art from “Star Wars: The High Republic” at Tomorrowland Light & Power Co today. This design is currently available for iPhone XR, XS Max, 11, 11 Pro Max, 12, 12 Pro, and 12 Pro Max, and retails for $34.99.

While browsing Memento Mori, we found new socks featuring everyone’s favorite Hitchhiking Ghosts for $14.99.

We found the latest limited release of Wishables featuring The Incredibles at The Emporium, retailing for $12.99 each.

Nearby at Boutiki in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, we found the long-anticipated Mickey-shaped hand soap dispenser. For more pictures and information, check out our article here.
