It was announced earlier this year that Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom card game would be closing at the end of this past January and today we saw more game pieces removed from around the park.
A tap point just outside Sir Mickey’s in Fantasyland receives a canvas overlay.
An opening for where the tap point was once installed is underneath.
Another tap point on the wall receives an overlay held in place with screws.
The tap point across from Sir Mickey’s also has a rough canvas overlay stapled in instead of with screws.
Another keyhole in Fantasyland missing and not bothered to be covered.
Although quite a few points were missing in Fantasyland, we noticed they were still intact in other places throughout the park.
Frontierland and Liberty Square had all of their Sorcerer key points.
Areas around Adventureland had key tap points posted as well.
Back on Main Street U.S.A., this tap point had been removed and completely painted over.
As well as this one next door.
This tap point at The Emporium remains.
As of now, it seems as though only the keyhole tap points in Fantasyland and parts of Main Street U.S.A. that are accessible have been removed.
