The lions are currently missing from Kilimanjaro Safaris at Disney’s Animal Kingdom as their area of the attraction undergoes refurbishment.
Sections of the rock formation where the lions usually reside are currently surrounded by green scrim.
The safari driver did not acknowledge the missing lions when driving through the area. They are likely being held in a backstage enclosure during the refurbishment. Hopefully, we’ll see them back on their “pride rock” soon.
