While guests at Universal Studios Florida continue to enjoy the summer fun, the park has already begun its terrifying transformation to prepare for Halloween Horror Nights 30.

Walking through Production Central, more framework is slowly rising up on the sidewalks, likely to hold up additional decorations, though it’s possible Scareactors could menace the crowd on top of the base.

Moving into New York, a large truck has been parked across from the entrance to Revenge of the Mummy alongside some oil barrels.

The back of it is covered with black netting and a red material. It certainly looks sinister enough for Halloween Horror Nights.

The side of the truck features an eye fashioned out of gears and cogs. Could some sort of dystopian scene be coming, and could it fit into the “Seek and Destroy” scarezone listed on HHNightmares’ speculation map?

Over on the stage, the set is starting to be decorated with an ominous gray pattern.

The sides feature a gear-eye design similar to what’s on the truck.

By the Paradise Theater facade, the towers that have sprung up have been decorated in the same style, with each tower having a different number.

Another structure is being built in front of the Revenge of the Mummy entrance.

The bottom posts seem to also have a red-and-black netting covering them, like what’s on the back of the truck.

It’s expected that these will serve as lighting towers, much like structures in the same locations have been used for past events.

  1. My idea for what the scare zone will be is a vampire area. In the future, vampires overrun the US government, and a new government-run program is set up, which takes humans, and drains the blood for consumption of the vampires, hence the hoses, tanks, and barrels. Kind of like how countries pump oil, but with blood and vampires. And the leader is called the controller. Looks cool whatever it is…
