Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto has finally reopened at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. Like the Jungle Cruise, Trader Sam’s has seen a few small cultural sensitivity changes.
Shrunken zombie heads were removed from the decor.
A photo remains of the Disneyland and Walt Disney World versions of Trader Sam, although the Sams have been removed from their attractions.
The walls are still covered in tiki decorations.
There are plenty of easter eggs to look out for.
Two menu items at Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto were renamed ahead of the reopening.
Watch our videos below to see some of the special effects and unique drinks available at the tiki bar.
