Creations Shop and Club Cool are still set to open this summer at EPCOT, as part of the new World Celebration neighborhood. We’re officially a month into the summer season, and construction is racing to be done on time.
In the breezeway next to Club Cool, lights have been installed in rows on the lowered ceiling.
Most of the scaffolding has been removed.
There’s still some painting to be done.
Some of the paneling on the roof overhang has been replaced.
An opening date has not been announced for Starbucks and the new quick-service restaurant adjacent to Club Cool.
Windows have been installed surrounding most of the restaurant.

Construction vehicles were parked inside beneath the Communicore “skylight” tubes.
Paneling has yet to be completed on the rounded corner too.
Some of the Creations Shop exterior has been repainted for a more uniform look.
On the World Discovery side of Creations Shop, two new kiosks have appeared in this courtyard.
One of the kiosks has a wave pattern on the bottom, with plants on the roof.
Trees and foliage are being planted around the building.
Some of the windows have been uncovered, so we can see more Communicore tubes.
The rest of the overhang paneling will be painted the new creamy gray color.
Scaffolding has moved away from Creations Shop and Club Cool to the new restaurant.
Meanwhile, on the walkway to World Showcase, we could see some orange cones.
Now that the EPCOT Monorail line has reopened, we can get a bird’s eye view of the construction site.
The walls in front of Creations Shop seem to be in place to block the rest of the construction site from access and view when guests do start visiting the store.
There has also been plenty of work on the rooftop of what was once Innoventions.
Across from Creations Shop will be Journey of Water, a new walkthrough attraction inspired by “Moana.”
A crane was recently moved into the Journey of Water area.
One concrete structure has been built at the attraction’s site.
From both the sky and the ground, Journey of Water is mostly dirt right now.
