There have been major strides with construction of TRON Lightcycle / Run at Magic Kingdom in the past few weeks. The large crane was recently removed from the site, indicating it’s no longer needed. The coaster’s entrance to “The Grid” show building is also looking neater.
Many materials sit around the construction site.
Scaffolding leads up to the coaster’s entrance.
The paneling has been formed into a semi-oval shape. After a loop under the canopy, the coaster will take guests into the show building for the rest of the ride.
There is scaffolding just beyond the entrance and we could see crew members working inside.
The canopy framework is mostly covered in blue netting, but this is not the final canopy.
Crew members have been working to secure the netting and lights.
We saw many crew members on the ground today.
It looks like a zig-zagging walled pathway is being built beneath the coaster.
Electrical wires can be seen coiled up around the canopy framework.
This service entrance to the coaster gives us a glimpse of little more than tarps.
Paneling remains to be completed beneath the coaster’s entrance.
