REVIEW: Cheshire Café Reopens With New Curiouser and Curiouser Slushy and Classic Cat Tails at Magic Kingdom

Cheshire Café has reopened at Magic Kingdom today, serving its classic Cheshire Cat Tail and a new Curiouser and Curiouser Slushy. Coincidentally, today is also the 70th anniversary of Disney’s “Alice in Wonderland.”

Cheshire Café is next to Mad Tea Party, between Fantasyland and Tomorrowland.

We ordered a Cheshire Cat Tail and the new slushy for breakfast.

Cheshire Cat Tail – $5.49

This is the same pastry we know and love from the past.

The pastry itself was a little chewy, but it wasn’t bad. The chocolate filling was sweet with a gentle milk chocolate flavor.

The pink and blue icing on top is thick without getting too messy and added nicely to the sweetness.

The Cheshire Cat Tail is a nice breakfast or snack option without being a sugar bomb, and we’ll always be back for more.

Curiouser and Curiouser Slushy – $5.99

Minute Maid© Frozen Premium Lemonade and Fanta© Blue Raspberry topped with Whipped Cream

The blue raspberry slush tasted a bit like cotton candy. It was very syrupy sweet, with a hint of a fake fruit flavor.

The lemonade portion was very tart and had a strong artificial lemon taste.

That said, they mixed well to create a unique, not too sweet, not too tart, mildly fruity slushy.

When the whipped cream on top melted, the whole slushy was reminiscent of a creamsicle. We would get this again.
