One of the many new citrus snacks now available at Disney Springs for “Flavors of Florida” is the Key Lime Pie Donut at Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew.
The window has a sign advertising “Flavors of Florida.” The limited-time event runs through August 12.
Key Lime Pie Donut – $6.50
Glazed donut filled with citrus custard, piped with sweet meringue, and sprinkled with tendrils of lime zest.
This donut was true to its inspiration. The filling tasted just like a key lime pie and had a great texture.
The donut itself is a classic glazed donut.
It’s topped with toasted meringue and lime zest, which were excellent additions.
We were surprised that it wasn’t an instant burst of sugar like most other Everglazed treats.
It was a little heavy for the middle of a warm day but would be great first thing in the morning or as a dessert.
This was a delicious donut, and we would get it again.
