REVIEW: New Chocolate Bundt Cake is Not Stellar at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café in Magic Kingdom

A new addition to the menu at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café is this little chocolate Bundt cake with a purple icing drizzle. We stopped by to give it a try (and listen to Sonny Eclipse, of course).

Chocolate Bundt Cake — $5.49

The purple icing is pretty, but there’s not enough to add any flavor.

The cake itself is a little dry, and the small amount of icing did nothing to help that. It’s a decent dark chocolate cake with rich flavor, but definitely have a drink handy!

There are melted chocolate chips throughout, which was a nice surprise.

Other than it being dry, we enjoyed this treat. It’s a simple cake that would be good for a picky eater. We would not get it again simply because there are better choices around Magic Kingdom, such as the fan-favorite Cheshire Tails nearby at Cheshire Café.

  1. From what I’ve read over the past couple years and YouTube reviews. Does anything good come out of Cosmic Ray’s or Pizza Rizzo for the matter?

  2. disney food is a total disappointment every were you go, and wdwnt reviewers say about the same. restaurants have become horrible, its a total let down, the experience verse value is gone.
