According to sources, Disneyland Paris will be discontinuing free FastPasses in August. Guests will now need to pay for a digital FastPass replacement. The new system will be called “Disney Premier Access” or DPA. This is also what the service is called at Shanghai Disney Resort.
Sources indicate that Disney Premier Access will launch with eight attractions. Guests will purchase DPA passes through the Disneyland Paris app. Guests must enter the park with valid admission before the Premier Access passes can be purchased.
Disney Premier Access is set to launch at Disneyland Paris in August. A formal announcement of the new service is expected very soon.
It seems likely that the same service will launch at Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort in the not-too-distant future as well.

Paid fastpass. They probably come in degrees: 1 fastpass a day, 3 fastpasses a day, unlimited fastpasses per day, at the rate of $20, $50, and $100 per day, respectively. Also, for popular rides such as ROTR, it requires 2 or 3 fastpasses to book. I mean, Disney can really use the money. Let’s not be shy about bleeding the rich, they can afford it.
Disneyland Paris already has two paid fastpass systems – Super Fastpass and Ultimate Fastpass. So is this rumoured new system replacing those? I mean, it basically sounds like what they already have at DLP, just with a new name.Also, DLP only has a total of 8 fastpassable attractions. It’s not like WDW which has lots.

Also going to be used at Disney World. $9 to $17 per person per ride depending on the ride and the day of use. This is excessive, tickets already cost so much. What makes them think that this is a good idea.
This absolutely insane. We use FastPass religiously in California…at least 5-6 times a day. So for a family of four that’s potentially another $100/day/person ON TOP of the ticket price. If Disney really wants to price out the average family, they should just raise ticket prices by $100 a day. Why nickel and dime us to death? Just price it out of almost everyone’s reach if that’s what you’re after. Insanity.
