Florida residents can enjoy a stay at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels for a special rate this summer. The discount is available most nights from August 8 through September 4, 2021.

Florida residents get special rates on Disney hotels from August 8 through September 4 but the only Florida resident ticket promo available expires on July 14. Do I have that right?

I really want to go in August, but decided not to for the following reasons: Disney World is hot as hell in August, and it rains hard every day with occasional hurricanes, like there’s one right now. Port Orleans and All Stars still have no reopening in sight, and Coronado Springs or Caribbean Beach are not cheap. Florida (and the rest of the country) is suffering severe labor shortages. I worry about having problems during the trip, such as not be able to get enough food or uber rides, or clean rooms. Wearing masks on airplanes makes me sick, and… Read more »
