Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- We reported that chefs returned to Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort ahead of its rumored August 5 reopening
- Yachtsman Steakhouse at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort will reopen August 5, as Disney confirmed our earlier rumor
- Toledo — Tapas, Steak & Seafood will also reopen August 5 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
- California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is unavailable beginning October 2 as chefs create a “special dining experience” for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary
- Updated Yachtsman Steakhouse and Toledo — Tapas, Steak & Seafood menus were released by Disney
Other Walt Disney World News
- Early in the day, we got word that the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) would issue new indoor face mask guidance for COVID-19 hotspots
- Later this afternoon, the CDC recommended that fully vaccinated people resume wearing face masks indoors in areas with high or substantial COVID-19 transmission rates, which applies to all of Florida
- Theme park reservations for October 1 were replenished, with only Disney’s Hollywood Studios unavailable for Annual Passholders

- The “Duffy & Friends’ Starry Dreams” seasonal event means new food and souvenirs are coming to Tokyo DisneySea
