Family Play Zone at EPCOT Being Rethemed to Princess and the Frog

August 23 marks the beginning of Disney’s World Princess Week, part of the Ultimate Princess Celebration. Walt Disney World guests can celebrate at the EPCOT playground, which will be rethemed to Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog on August 23.

    • No, the article actually does a good job of explaining the reason for this retheme. It’s in honor of the Ultimate Princess Celebration and it’s also not the first time this play area has been rethemed for various occasions. This will obviously be a temporary change, not a permanent one. If you have any other questions, I’ll be happy to clear things up for you, since I make it a point of reading articles in their entirety before commenting.

  1. The play area always felt like an afterthought. So much potential, and frankly so needed for the kiddos. Nice to see this area get some well-deserved attention. When combined with the new Moana area, this will be a nice change for kids at Epcot.
