Fireworks shows and nighttime spectaculars have returned to Walt Disney World, with Happily Ever After, EPCOT Forever, and Wonderful World of Animation now all performing. We’ve noticed, however, that laser effects are missing from all three shows.
Wonderful World of Animation just premiered last night with the lasers missing as well. Whether this is a permanent or temporary change and the exact reason why is unknown. That being said, it is likely permanent for Happily Ever After and EPCOT Forever, which will both be retiring this year.

I wish Fantasmic! was reopened.
Are lasers culturally insensitive now too??
Lol…..I’m sure they offended someone
Hopefully they’re upgrading them to the new Xtylos light fixtures, which are a hybrid of a laser and a traditional moving theatre light.
If you watched the Superbowl LIV (2019) Half-time show and noticed the laser patterns in the background, that’s what they used.
