Today the Disney Careers website posted a new job listing for Parking Operations Cast Members at Walt Disney World, hopefully a sign that parking lot trams are gearing up for a return.
According to the job listing:
“Parking Operations Cast Members are focused on creating magic for our Guests during their Walt Disney World® Resort stay by ensuring the highest standards of safety while greeting, loading/unloading, driving, spieling and directing Guests in the parking lots. Parking Operations Cast Members will safely operate multi car passenger trams throughout parking lots.”
The return of trams has not yet been announced, and the trams themselves haven’t been operational since March 2020. The hot Florida sun and long walks to the front of enormous parking lots are certainly burdensome, so the potential return of parking lot trams to Walt Disney World is an exciting proposition for park guests.

I certainly hope the trams come back, having guests do the marathon to their cars and back really must take a toll on them after a long day…
I think they are but there is still not a confirmed date yet. Time will tell.
About time! Anyone paying should demand a refund having to walk 20 minutes to the main entrance in this heat!
