Greetings from the Universal Orlando Resort! We’re back and ready to take on the parks. Thankfully, the summer crowds have died down as kids get ready to head back to school.

Parking and security were super quick today. What a change from the crowds we’ve seen the last few months.

At the store located in the hub, near security, we spotted a really stylish new Back to the Future shirt.

The parks were just as quiet, but we’re not complaining. Today was the perfect day for being out in the parks.

Inside Borgin and Burkes, we found some new merchandise. A new Tervis brand tumbler with the Dark Mark is available for $37. The blue and red designs really pop.

This new Polyjuice Potion mug is $20. Mugs are a great souvenir.

Halloween Horror Nights is creeping closer and we know you’re dying to check out all the latest scare zone updates. Take a closer look at the scare zone construction around the park in our post here.

Can’t wait to see what the next Tribute Store facade looks like! The Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store is set to open on August 27.

The weather this morning was beautiful and we love these slow days. Wait times were low and lines were short for food and drinks around the park.

The spinning part of the KidZone sign has returned and is functional again.

We walked right onto the Hogwarts Express with almost no wait.

Over at Islands of Adventure, more of The Hundreds brand Jurassic Park merchandise is available. We also spotted this shirt at the Universal Studios Store in CityWalk.

We saw a few of the Jurassic Park Team Members in the lab coats for the genetics division. We hope this is a good sign that things could be happening soon in the Discovery Center.

The Jurassic Park River Adventure had only a 20 minute wait this afternoon. That’s surprising considering the hot weather today.

Islands of Adventure was just as quiet as Universal Studios Florida. It’s been so long since we’ve had a quiet afternoon in the parks.

It started to look like a storm was going to roll in this afternoon. Outdoor attractions were temporarily closed due to weather in the area.

Caro-Seuss-el is still closed, but it appears they have been working on repairing the attraction.

Thanks for joining us around the Universal Orlando Resort today. It’s been a busy day, so we’re gonna get out of here. Stay tuned to Universal Parks News Today for all the latest updates.
