Welcome to another spooky day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. It’s going to be a great day here in the parks, so let’s get started over at Universal Studios Florida and check out what’s new for Halloween Horror Nights.
The food tents around the park have started to get themed facades. We spotted locations themed to Wicked Growth, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Beetlejuice and more. Can’t wait for the event this year!
Already craving barbecue.
We spotted some of the taps for the beers that will be available in the Battery Park area across from Mel’s Drive-In and Transformers.
More details are being added to all the scare zones around the park.
It’s really quiet this afternoon. It’s also really hot.
Stopped at Starbucks to grab another AP Island Tea. It looks a little different than the first one we had, but it was still just as delicious. Get more details and read our full review here.
Almost no wait for the Hogwarts Express today. Time to take a ride over to Islands of Adventure.
Over at Islands of Adventure, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure is using a standby queue. With low crowds, they do not need the Virtual Line system. Take advantage of this while you can!
We spotted a change to one of the snack stands in Seuss Landing. The sign for “Brown and Blacks ICEE Snacks” was recently removed and now the stand has been given a new sign. This “Snack Snack Have A Snack ICEE” sign still has the characters of Brown and Black along the top.
In Toon Lagoon, we found 3 new items for Passholder Appreciation Days. The new UOAP merchandise includes a hat, waist pack, and a shirt. Check out the other merch available here.
The All Hallows Eve Boutique has some new merchandise, including this Artist Signature Series shirt.
VelociCoaster had a delayed opening this morning and Team Members were out letting guests know the ride was down. Many guests chose to sit in the shade nearby and wait for the ride to open. Thankfully, it opened just before noon.
Barricades have been removed from in front of the Jurassic World arch and the bridge looks like it’s getting ready for a little refresh.
The tops are missing from Doctor Doom’s Fear Fall but the attraction is still open. They are most likely being refurbished and will return again soon.
That’s all for this visit to the Universal Orlando Resort. Thanks for joining us around the parks today. Be sure to keep following Universal Parks News Today for more updates!
