Welcome to another exciting day here at Universal Orlando Resort. We’re patiently waiting for more Halloween Horror Nights announcements, but until then, we’re going to have to do our own detective work. Let’s get started over at Universal Studios Florida.
Halloween Horror Nights is quickly approaching, so we’ve been watching the scare zone construction closely. The Icons scare zone, still unannounced at this time, now has a Halloween Horror Nights sign at the top of the metal structure. Long-term fans or readers of our retrospective series “30 Years of Fear” might recognize this sign from Horror Nights’ past, as it has made several appearances over the years. The candles that were along the sides have been removed, though.
Another scare zone in the San Francisco part of the park doesn’t give any hints yet, but we’re waiting for more details to be added around the area soon.
The parks aren’t too busy today, possibly due to the threat of rain. Wait times for attractions are low, but we still notice a lot of long lines for food.
A little afternoon drizzle helps to clear out the crowds.
In the Diagon Alley, the puke has returned to the window of Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes and is functional once again.
Let’s head over to Islands of Adventure next and see what’s new.
Caro-Seuss-el is temporarily closed with no reopening date known at this time. Read more about the closure in our post here.
The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride had a 50 minute wait. That’s almost the same wait time as VelociCoaster.
Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure is still using the new Virtual Line system and not offering standby. Read more about this new system and how it works in our post here.
The line for Butterbeer is always long.
A new Mr. DNA shirt is available at Jurassic Outfitters for $30.
Only a 25 minute wait for Jurassic Park River Adventure.
The construction walls around the Toon Lagoon sign closest to Marvel have finally be removed. The water wasn’t on, but the area looks good.
That’s all for this visit to Universal Orlando Resort. Thanks for following us around the parks today, and make sure you stay tuned to Universal Parks News Today for more updates.
