REVIEW: New Hawaiian-Inspired Burger is Surprisingly Good at Galactic Grill in Disneyland

Galactic Grill in Disneyland has a new specialty burger inspired by Hawaii. Despite our trepidations, we headed to the Tomorrowland restaurant to try a bite.

This burger comes with your choice of fries, yogurt, or cuties. Cuties were unavailable, so we got two applesauce pouches.

We wanted to hate this but actually ended up enjoying it. It’s not necessarily Hawaiian, and it’s nothing too special in general, but it’s filling.

The burger is the usual thick burger from Galactic Grill. It was topped with red cabbage and pineapple chunks mixed in a sweet teriyaki sauce. Additional condiments are provided on the side, but we found them unnecessary.

The red cabbage added some crunch, which created a texture and acidity that contrasted the sweet pineapple while it complimented the other flavors. We were grateful that it wasn’t a slab of pineapple.

The bun was dry and forgettable.

This isn’t something we would get again and again, but it’s a solid choice.
