Good morning everyone, and welcome to another fantastic day at Walt Disney World! Join us on our adventure around Magic Kingdom today, where we’ll discover all of the latest updates in store at this beautiful park. Let’s jump in!
“It’s good to be bad!” Get ready to look wickedly stylish in this new Maleficent Spirit Jersey. This jersey features the iconic villain in both her original look and dragon form. It’s a beautiful mix of purples, pinks, black, & white, and features a small silver design of Maleficent’s horns in the upper right corner. This look has arrived just in time for spooky season over at Emporium for $74.99.Â
Walt Disney World keeps introducing new ways to celebrate the 50th Anniversary, and today definitely didn’t disappoint. We were able to get a delicious salty treat with this new 50th Anniversary Popcorn Box! This box features some iconic characters such as Tinkerbell, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Orange Bird, Stitch, and many more. It also showcases landmarks from around the parks like Cinderella Castle, Spaceship Earth, Tree of Life, and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
We stopped to admire The Crystal Palace, which recently returned to buffet style dining. To hear all of our thoughts, check out our review here.
Lots of new Lightning Lane signage has struck Magic Kingdom! Today we saw new signs pop up at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, The Barnstormer, The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh, Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, & Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor. Fastpass+ signs continue to disappear from around the parks.
We sped over to TRON Lightcycle / Run, where work continues to progress on the unfinished structure currently located near the upcoming attraction. We recently saw a new archway piece installed above the show building.Â
Our pal Buzz Lightyear is out of this world!
We were happy to take a full walk around Storybook Circus, which no longer has areas blocked off by themed planters. We’ve continually seen updates to the banners, paint, and more throughout this land recently. The work has paid off, as all of the new updates look great.Â
It seems that the Frontierland Boardwalk refurbishment may finally be complete. All of the walls throughout the area have been completely removed, and the updated area looks great.Â
We enjoyed all of the musical stylings on Main Street, U.S.A.Â
We hopped over to Disney’s Contemporary Resort, where we found some new ceiling fixtures lighting up the lobby’s elevator area. These lights add to the “contemporary” aesthetic of the rest of the resort.Â
This resort is currently seeing a major refurbishment throughout.
We finished our day with a trip to the Transportation and Ticket Center, where we continue to see the area get a whole new look. The new blue and gold colors are replacing the classic multicolor designs. Â
That brings us to the end of our day! We hope you enjoyed joining us as we took a stroll around Magic Kingdom. How do you feel about all of the Lightning Lane signage striking down around the parks? Let us know in the comments below! We’ll “see ya real soon!”
