The colorful makeover of “it’s a small world” at Magic Kingdom has moved to the flat walls of the façade, as well as the entrance archways and boat entrance.
Most of the three-dimensional elements of the façade have been painted in a rainbow of colors.
The two archways guests pass under when entering the queue now have new gold paint.
The ovals on top of the archways alternate between gold and white.
The columns of the first archway have been painted almost entirely gold.
Gold painting has begun on the second archway’s columns.
The loading area used to have an entirely white and gold color palette, so it seems these archways will be sticking to that.
On the back wall, there are some touches of teal.
This flat structure on the wall was recently painted green.
The boats now pass under a colorful archway at the beginning of the ride.
The columns have been painted shades of purple, though the column on the right has not been completed. Peachy pink accents have been added to the top.
The wall with windows to Pinocchio’s Village Haus has yet to be painted.
