Refurbishment of Disney’s Contemporary Resort is moving at a rapid pace as construction workers race to have the resort in shape by October 1, revealing daily new additions including fresh paint and artwork.

The lower level lobby hallway lit with new milky glass pendant fixtures has had its long black curtain previously lining the pathway removed to reveal a new section with some mid-century modern wallpaper.

The wallpaper features some abstract shapes in muted peachy golden tones above a textured gray lower wall slightly sticking out further than the top part.

The wall lining the opposite end of the hallway is lined with repurposed art from other areas of the resort installed earlier this week.

The small walkway to the back of the resort near the pool area has more contemporary pieces and planters added to either side.

Contemporary Grounds just inside the main entrance to the resort also sported some of the artwork with new floral fixtures on tables and pieces set on either side of the entrance doors.

The bright new lobby still is currently hidden behind construction walls but at the rate that construction is moving, could be coming down any day now.
