The Mickey and Minnie statues in the Disney Fab 50 Character Collection have been switched with the Goofy and Pluto statues.
For reference, here is where Goofy and Pluto used to be. You can see Mickey and Minnie in their original spots in the background on the right.
Here is where Mickey and Minnie stood, along with the plaque dedicating them to Cast Members.
The statues were moved so Minnie and Mickey now have Cinderella Castle behind them, creating some more fun photo opportunities.
The dedication plaque was moved with them.
Goofy and Pluto now nearly face Cinderella Castle.

Between this and the multiple paint themes of the jungle cruise sign, I wonder about Disney’s planning people. Do they not look at mock ups and discuss such things anymore? Or just, oh let’s do this…..no wait, let’s change to this….no no wait a minute, what about this??? Jeez!
