Part of the queue of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is being refurbished.

Some of the decals have been removed and the murals painted over with plain white.

This is only happening in the new section of queue that was added with the opening of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, not the front section that existed for Great Movie Ride.

We previously documented just how much damage the wall decals had taken.

It’s possible the new paint job is because of all the damage the beautiful walls had sustained.

Hopefully, the white is not permanent but is a primer for something new.

Damage near the bottom of the wall is still clear.

The pre-show for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway was also not running today. The pre-show was gone for several months due to physical distancing but returned in June.
