Churro lovers, rejoice! In addition to the new Halloween churros at Disneyland, four new flavors have arrived at Disney California Adventure. The new Chocolate & Matcha flavor can be found at Willie’s Churros.
Chocolate & Matcha Churro – $6.75
Churro rolled in chocolate cookie crumbs and drizzled with a matcha cream cheese buttercream and strawberry sauce
The Chocolate & Matcha Churro was very good and very sweet. The strawberry sauce brings some tart brightness to this otherwise heavy, saucy churro. It’s definitely a full dish with plenty to share. The matcha isn’t a heavy flavor, but just a hint, which is nice. The gummy worms are a nice decoration but don’t really go with the rest of the churro. Overall, one of the better churros from today.
Mickey Jack-o’-lantern Straw Bottle Topper – $6.50
We also spotted this adorable Mickey pumpkin straw topper for pop bottles. The drink is sold separately.
