REVIEW: New Haunted Mansion Petit Cake is Nothing Special at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs

Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs has several new Halloween treats, and of course, we had to try their new Haunted Mansion petit cake.

Haunted Mansion Petit Cake ā€“ $22

Chocolate and vanilla chiffon cakes, with chocolate brownie, and diplomat cream sprinkled with candy-coated chocolate pieces and chocolate chips

Like all Amorette’s cakes, it comes in a box and a bag with tissue paper.

The cake is covered in purple and black fondant. On one side, the Hitchhiking Ghosts are sitting in a Haunted Mansion Doom Buggy.

There are bats and ghostly ghouls around the rest of the cake, and a black ribbon trimming the bottom.

This is a well-made cake, but it’s nothing special. The purple fondant had a slight vanilla flavor to it, but we think that was due to the coloring.

There is vanilla icing frosting beneath the fondant that adds a little sweetness to the cake.

The nicest part about this cake was the chocolate chips between each of the layers, giving the cake a fun texture.

It seems the brownie was supposed to be the bottom of the cake, but it was too much of a mess and we didn’t taste it much.

In general, it’s a decent cake, but not worth the $22.
