Hello world travelers! Welcome to a hot and sunny day here at EPCOT! Come and take a stroll around this beautiful park with us, you might just find a few surprises in store. So let’s go ahead and jump in!
This morning entering the park we had already made our first new discovery! Beautiful 50th banners have been added all around the entrance courtyard. This makes for a great 50th photo-op in front of the iconic Spaceship Earth! There are 12 banners in all, and they each bear the same design as the ones we found around Showcase Plaza not too long ago.
Take a look at this magical new Dooney & Bourke 50th Anniversary Collection! We found the whole set this morning over at Magic Kingdom, but certain items can also be found here at Creations Shop!
While inside Creations Shop, we discovered this lovely new Beauty and the Beast inspired baseball cap! The hat dawns the quote “For Beauty Is Found Within” with an image of The Beast’s beautiful rose.
Princess Jasmine entertained guests with tales of her magic carpet adventures over in Morocco!
While in Morocco, we noticed that Souk-Al-Magreb is still closed for refurbishment. We hope to see the return of this shop very soon.
It’s a world of laughter, a world of tears, and a world of even more adorable 50th Anniversary merchandise! Check out this it’s a small world themed figurine that we found over at Art of Disney. The art features dolls from all around the world, and displays the tagline “The World’s Most Magical Celebration.”
We found that some classy, white curtains have been added to the entrance ways inside of the America Pavilion. This adds just another layer of elegance to the beautiful building.
We were surprised to see that the face painting Booth over near Refreshment Outpost had officially reopened today! Kids and adults alike were enjoying being transformed into beautiful princesses, fairies, superheroes, and so much more. Makeup artists and guests are currently separated by a movable plexiglass divider. We’re excited to see the return of this super fun activity at EPCOT!
We did happen to notice that the tribal masks that once decorated this booth seemed to still be missing. It’s unknown if these were removed as part of Disney Parks’ cultural sensitivity efforts or for a standard refurbishment.
It was an absolutely beautiful day in Norway!
That brings us to the end of our day here at Walt Disney World. Thank you so much for following us around EPCOT! How do you feel about more and more experiences returning to Walt Disney World? Let us know in the comments below! Have a great day everybody, we’ll “See ya real soon”!
