PHOTO REPORT: Magic Kingdom 10/27/21 (TRON Canopy Prepares To Illuminate, Princess Fairytale Hall Receives A Queue Line, Jungle Green Pavement Nears Completion, & More)

Good morning from a cool day at Magic Kingdom! The weather is getting us in the spirit for Halloween just a few days away, so let’s get started.

Oogie Boogie Loungefly backpacks have been restocked at The Emporium just in time for the weekend’s spooky festivities.

Performers were using the stage platforms at the castle for the first time for the morning welcome show “The Magic Is Calling Us” since being installed.

The area behind the platform that used to be covered in gray scrim has been removed to reveal a few stage lights underneath.

Over in Tomorrowland, the covered area across from Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor that used to hold Fastpass kiosks is being repaved.

Workers at TRON Lightcycle Run prepare the canopy with lights to illuminate the night.

A new set of gold Disney Parks Collection jewelry featuring Mickey Mouse heads with an EARidescent sparkle (if you will) inside are now out. The necklace and earrings are $19.99 each at Star Traders.

A new youth pillow pajama set featuring the fanciest feline, Marie, prowled into Hundred Acre Goods for $34.99.

Princess Fairytale Hall has been roped off and given a chain queue inside to prepare for character sightings returning soon.

A wonderful new Apple Watch band featuring T-I-double-guh-ER has bounced into Frontier Trading Post for $34.99.

The small covered area behind Pirates of the Caribbean near Plaza Del Sol Caribe has been uncovered to reveal a pirate’s cavern filled with treasures.

Jungle green pavement reaches to expand as scoring continues over the large area of gray pavers near The Enchanted Tiki Room in Adventureland.

Back on Main Street U.S.A., orange strings are being used for the spookiest Jack Skellington balloon now available outside of Boo Bash.

  1. I’m not really into the pond scum sidewalk in Adventureland. I opened the article to get the TRON update. I am wondering when/if the canopy will have a white fiberglass top like the one in Asia.
