BREAKING: Beloved Bread Replaced with Pretzel Rolls at Hollywood Brown Derby in Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The fan-favorite bread at The Hollywood Brown Derby in Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been replaced with pretzel rolls.

These rolls come with a pat of butter sprinkled with Himalayan sea salt.

The rolls themselves are also lightly salted. They have a hard exterior and a warm, soft interior. They’re good, but many will be sad to see the old rolls go.

According to Cast Members, there were issues obtaining the old bread so there are no current plans to bring it back. The pretzel rolls will be available for the immediate future, but they may try different options.

In our tweet from last summer, you can see what the previous bread rolls looked like.

  1. Once again Disney flippantly removes staples of their experience that guests know, love, and patronize them for over and over again. I for one was a ardent consumer of Brown Derby rolls, which coupled with the grapefruit cake are timeless touchstones of the restaurant. You cannot tell me that one of the largest corporations in the world cannot find bread akin to the previous offering, even if the prior vendor could no longer supply. They could try the novel idea of baking it themselves, particularly for a signature restaurant. Disney just does not care to in yet another slight to guests. Little touches and affronts to guests aggregate to negative connotations.
