Mickey’s PhilharMagic at Magic Kingdom is now closed for a one-month refurbishment and will reopen on November 12 with a new “Coco” scene.

Walls surround the closed attraction.

In addition to the new scene, the show will get a new digital projection system.

The “Coco” scene debuted at Mickey’s PhilharMagic in Disney California Adventure in July. The scene does not replace pre-existing scenes in the show.

The new digital projection should look great at Disney World. Just saw the new version at Disneyland and even with the smaller screen the quality of the projection was amazing.
If a comparison to this show at Disney California Adventure is apt, then I’m VERY enthusiastic about this upgrade at WDW. Sharper projection, yes, and also gentle but effective projection effects on the side walls of the theater to “extend” the feeling of the film across the entire area. Loved it!
